Virtual reality-based tools are another technology that solution providers who work with the education vertical should put on their radars, said Diamond.
“Many schools are teaching kids to capture virtual reality,” he said. “We’re also seeing schools utilize VR for augmenting textbooks, and book reports. So a student reading about the Sistine Chapel can now visually walk through it using VR.”
Diamond said that schools overseas are also using VR functions for math, so that students with visual and spatial disabilities such as dyslexia can be taught in a way in which they can process math visually.
