Where are the biggest opportunities for partners?

(A lot of) the areas that were rated as having the potential to outperform expectations were … associated with many of the emerging trends we’re seeing. Cloud certainly continues to rate near the top as one of the top areas as both a driver as we’ve seen over the past couple of years. But many in the study also believe there’s a lot of upside potential. (Respondents said both cloud applications and infrastructure, ranked first and third, respectively, have the potential to outperform expectations.)

Security (which ranked second) also rated high. … And then the other two (are) mobile and data analytics. (fourth and fifth, respectively)

The one interesting one (which came in sixth) – Internet of Things. It’s starting at a low base. We recognize that there aren’t a lot of channel partners that are making a lot of money from IoT yet.  But it does suggest that they see some growing opportunities in the year ahead.
