You examined economic touchpoints that could change. Are there economic phenomena that could change the whole equation for partners?
Probably for many partners, most of their business is domestic, and many of their customers have minimal exposure to overseas markets or currency changes. So, some of it could be an indirect effect, so (take, for example) the large multinational that could be affected by China or currency swings. Potentially, if they cut back on their investments, it can have a trickle-down effect.
But domestically, probably the biggest concern (is) the Q4 GDP figures … and it did suggest that consumer spending in the U.S. was lower than anticipated. That’s probably the factor that is of most concern to any small channel partner, that any pullback or any postponing of spending among their small customer base will … hit their bottom line.
